Historical Context:
The
Mongolian People’s Republic
amended 3 constitutions (1924, 1940, 1960) during its timeline with the first dating back to 1924. This political document first established the goals of the government by abolishing the previous system based on a monarchial theocracy and adopting a socialistic point of view in its national program. Hence the striking slogan (which is actually a road) written below the jumping-horseman “…
капитализмыгалгасч
…” which translates literally as “after capitalism”, a direct attack to the values of the West in support for the bolder ones of the Eastern Bloc.
What may not strike the eye at first is the particular tone used for the middle part of the flag. Even the Mongolian flag at the time had a cyan tone between two red columns. The stamp however has a paler tone of blue mixed with white while the same missing cyan tone is used in the beautiful border surrounding the depicted scene…

The gum is intact and the stamp is in perfect condition. This stamp hasn't been used and has no indication of use, tear or damage during its preservation.

The stamp printing was done using the photogravure technique.
It features many diverse colors and tones of blue with a dashing silver and light-blue motif border surrounding the stamp’s illustration. The center-piece of the stamp features a traditional Mongolian horsemen with his horse jumping over a road.
The road has the expression ”…
капитализмыгалгасч
…” painted on it indicating the willingness of the Mongolian constitution bypassing capitalism in pursuit for socialism. The horseman is also waving a large flag of the Mongolian People’s Republic although the central stripe of the flag is paler than the official color of the official flag.
