    Description

    This lantern is 6 3/4" tall and I think its a  carbide burner. There is a reservoir on the back and no wick. The last patent date is 1899. The hinge is broken on the lens door and some of the rolled brass edge is missing as well. The lens itself is etched as well.  I can't open the bottom chamber and don't want to force it.  It was in the basement of an estate sale and I'm selling it as is
