The homburg is said to be a politician’s hat. So it’s only fitting that the first time we rest eyes on the formidable anti-hero of Boardwalk Empire, Nucky Thompson, he is donning this black homburg. Despite his high level bootlegging organization, he begins our story as the treasurer of Atlantic City.
Steve Buscemi’s steely blue gaze peers out from under the brim of this homburg in the opening credits. The homburg has a grosgrain ribbon trim and is crafted by Dobbs in New York.
