Vintage Collection Of 11 Miscellanious Alcatraz Prison Items Brass Plates Sign.
Up for sale is an incredible collection of 11 Miscellaneous vintage seldom seen, super rare items removed from legendary Alcatraz Federal Penitentiary, San Francisco, California, home to infamous gangsters and criminals such as Al Capone. The items were acquired back in the 1970s from one of the Native Americans who moved into the prison after it was closer in 1963.
Collection includes:
- one large ~ AMERICAN IRONER~ Industrial ironing machine plate with awesome embossed eagle graphics.
- three brass elevator button push plates, two are smaller with one button hole and size one larger plate with a double buttons.
-two brass ~PHILA THERMOMETER~ plate covers.
- One Metal ~T.J. TYSDAL, INC. prison locks~ lock plate (super cool metallic lettering graphics and advertising)
-one metal ~AIR COMPRESSOR~ Machinery plate, with incredible details and advertising.
And finally;
-three brass unidentifiable Industrial Machinery plates, these vary in size And condition.
Condition varies but overall Collection is in good condition, some items show, paint loss, rust, oxidation, surface wear and tarnishing. Please see detailed pictures for a further look at condition, details and measurements.
