Flex XCE 8-125 18.0 is a forced rotation dual action polisher with 8mm throw. It is a cordless gear driven, brushless polisher. It offers the power of a forced rotation without the risk of chasing holograms. Batteries last between 30-45 minutes each. They also take about 40-45 minutes to charge. I’ve never had an issue waiting on a battery. Although I’ve only used it 4-5 times, each time when one battery died the other was fully charged and ready to go. The cordless feature is liberating when working a whole vehicle. I was skeptical at first but this thing is an absolute monster. Best polisher I’ve ever used when it comes to digging out scratches. Takes a bit to get used to the forced rotation, but once you feel it for a few passes you’ll be fine. It tends to want to “pull” the machine so it takes a bit more muscle to control the machine. If you’ve ever used a rotary it is similar but not as extreme or aggressive. It really is a marvel of modern engineering. I have the original box for the flex which isn’t in the photos. I am also including the charger and 3 batteries. When I received the polisher package one of the batteries wouldn’t hold a charge. Flex sent me a brand new battery and told me to keep the defective one. I’m including it because I’ve heard there may be a way to repair the issue. If so it would be worth exploring due to the cost of the batteries. They are typically alone.
