WANTED POSTERS OF THE OLD WEST AND STORIES BEHIND THE CRIMES" is a totally mesmerizing collection of some 150 Wanted Posters found in the basement of the County Courthouse in Missoula, Montana in the 1970s. They date back to the early 1900s! The posters include those for Jesse James, Kid Curry, Tom Nixon, Butch Cassidy, Frank L. Smith, and many, many more! Horse thieves, murderers, jail-breakers, train robbers, white slavery and more are some of the crimes represented here. Chapter titles are: 1. Rogue's Hall of Infamy,  2. Get On That Pony and Ride (horse stealing, cattle stealing, auto theft),  3. Murder Most Foul (murder, rape, arson, manslaughter),  4. Immoral Purposes (seduction, bigamy, adultery, white slavery, abduction),  5. Be On The Lookout (jail breaks, Army desertion, family abandonment, assault, whereabouts unknown),  6. Take The Money & Run (bank robbery, safe cracking, train robbery, burglary, forgery, embezzlement, etc),  Most of the posters are from 1900-to about 1920.
