    Uncut Bolt 5 * 1876 Centennial  FLAGS OF ALL NATIONS Patriotic Cotton Kerchief
    This auction is for a very scarce uncut bolt of five (5) cotton handkerchiefs from the 1876 Centennial Exhibition in Philadelphia.  This handkerchief is pictured on page 210 (textile 447) in the classic book
    Threads of History
    (Smithsonian Institution Press, 1979). Each kerchief has dimensions 24 ⅛” wide x 16 ¼” high.  The overall condition is VF with bright colors, crisp fabric, some old blue stitching along the edges, a few scattered spots, and an old repaired tear (approx 4”) at the bottom edge.  Please look at all the photos and ask any questions.  See my other auctions - combine shipping and save.
